Enid Catherine Robbie was a remarkable woman of great humanity, civilization, humour, talent and skill. She received little public recognition during her lifetime, and virtually no monetary rewards, so basic a measure of all, which our civilization and most of its people holds dear.

Her legacy lives on in the children she bore and raised with elegant grace, and in the grandchildren they in turn have had; in her paintings and drawings, and in the one book she was able to complete before she died. We will always miss her.
